Are You a Creditor?

Are you owed money by a person or business that has filed for bankruptcy?
Do you need to timely file a proof of claim in a bankruptcy case, for a debt the bankruptcy debtor owes you?
Do you need to seek relief from the bankruptcy automatic stay so you can foreclose, repossess, or continue to litigate a lawsuit suing the debtor in state court or federal court?

Attorney Kathleen P. March, Esq., the former US Bankruptcy Judge who owns and runs The Bankruptcy Law Firm, PC, is in the office daily Monday - Friday. Additional Los Angeles Bankruptcy attorneys of Law Firm are either working at Law Firm’s offices, in person, or working remotely. Even when all Law Firms in California were ordered by the government to close physically, our Law Firm still operated fully and remotely.

Our Law Firm e-files all bankruptcy petitions and other bankruptcy documents, and e-files all Court pleadings, remotely. We represent our clients at bankruptcy case “341a” meetings by having our client, our Law Firm, and the trustee all appear by phone. We make Court appearances by Zoom, by Court phone-in systems, or in person, depending on what the specific judge requires.

Our law firm can only be hired by a written contract, signed by our firm and signed by the client, specifying what services our law firm is hired to perform, and what fees we will charge the client for those services.
